The School of Tactical Egalitarianism
In Roman architecture and religion, the limen was the threshold — the boundary stone of the doorway, sacred to the god Janus. To cross the limen was to pass from one world into another: from private to public, from known to unknown, from silence to speech.
Voices of the Limen takes its name from this ancient concept. We are a publishing house that exists at the threshold — the crossing point where ideas that deserve to be heard find their passage into the world.
Credible ideas have a right to passage across the limen.
The mission of this independent publishing house is to provide a platform for publications, strategic messaging, and protected voices for the promotion of contributors and their institutions to support the otherwise voiceless.
Founded on the principle that credible ideas have a right to passage across the limen, the work of this house stands at the crossroads of global democracy to promote a free world and its interests.
The School of Tactical Egalitarianism holds that society functions optimally when every individual sees themselves as an equal stakeholder in the system they inhabit. This is not a utopian ideal — it is a strategic framework.
Equality of standing, equality of voice, equality of the right to shape the world. Not imposed from above but recognised from within. When people understand themselves as stakeholders rather than subjects, the systems they build are stronger, more resilient, and more just.
The vision of the United Commonwealth is the practical application of Tactical Egalitarianism at the civilisational level. It proposes that the democratic nations of the world — each with their own mythologies, languages, and identities — can find common cause without surrendering sovereignty.
